City Blossoms, the Farm-Based Education Network, and the U.S. Botanic Garden have teamed up to offer a free, four-part workshop series highlighting the ins and outs of farm and garden youth entrepreneurship programs.

Join this series and a group of guest presenters to explore how to support young people as they start, manage, and grow their own youth-driven businesses. This series is for you whether you’re just getting started or are looking to refine or expand an existing program. Based on Cultivating Young Leaders: A Workbook for Growing a Youth-Led Cooperative Garden Business, a resource collaboratively developed by City Blossoms and the U.S. Botanic Garden, discussions will cover: getting started, recruiting youth, evaluating from the get-go, designing for sustainability, composing business plans, managing finances, building partnerships, pricing, branding, marketing, and more. Each session will involve time listening to presenters and discussion with peers.
