Open Positions:
OpenTEAM Hub & Network Tech Coordinator (Remote or In-Person) – LEARN MORE & APPLY
The Hub & Network Tech Coordinator will engage interested and new land-based community partners (called Hubs) and associated farms and ranches as the point-person for these organizations to understand how they could most benefit from the OpenTEAM tech ecosystem. The coordinator will support land-based organizations and networks as they develop projects and explore OpenTEAM’s array of tech tools. They will further support feedback loops to ensure that OpenTEAM’s distributed open source tech community is developing the softwares and hardwares that are needed by land stewards. This position will ultimately play a critical role in expanding our capacity to serve more land-based community partners and the networks they represent.
OpenTEAM Support & Maintenance Tech Coordinator (Remote or In-Person) – LEARN MORE & APPLY
The Support & Maintenance Tech Coordinator will provide technical support to land-based community partners (called Hubs) and associated farms and ranches while working closely with technical partners to test, troubleshoot, and document tech tools within the ecosystem. Activities may include onboarding new tech users, supporting partner-specific development projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and gathering feedback about the tools in OpenTEAM’s tech ecosystem. This role will be essential for refining OpenTEAM’s technology toolkit and expanding our capacity to serve our community of users. It will also play a critical role in supporting feedback loops that can help OpenTEAM’s distributed open source tech community improve their softwares and hardwares.
OpenTEAM Western Markets Program Manager (CA-Based/Hybrid) – LEARN MORE & APPLY
The Western Markets Program Manager will collaborate with existing and new entities in OpenTEAM’s network such as farmer-support organizations and public and private buyers and funders to utilize the ag tech toolkit within OpenTEAM to meet their needs and simultaneously refine the tools. The Program Manager will work very closely with approximately 15 Western Region-specific Technical Assistance Providers (TAPs) that are deeply connected to farmers and farmer-support organizations to:
Support farmer and buyer access to available incentives, markets, services, and decision-support tools
Interface with OpenTEAM’s and our partner organizations’ teams to represent the Western Region perspective
The Western Markets Program Manager will play a critical role in ensuring OpenTEAM’s tech toolkit is accessible, relevant, and ultimately successful in supporting regional climate-smart/regenerative markets.
