Transportation to Concord

Concord, Massachusetts is located approximately 25 miles west of Boston's Logan AIrport and Amtrack's South Station in Boston.  Guests of the Residence Inn are offered a shuttle service between to/from the Gathering at the Concrd Carlisle High School from 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM.

Transportation to Concord from Logan Airport By Public Transportation (MBTA)
  • Outside your terminal, board the free Massport airport shuttle bus to the MBTA Blue Line (Route #s 22, 33, or 55). The shuttle will drop you off directly in front of the MBTA’s Airport Station where you can purchase a CharlieTicket at the ticket machines inside the station’s lobby to pay your fare ($2.10).

  • Take the Blue Line toward Bowdoin Station.

  • Ride 4 stops and exit the Blue Line at Government Center Station.

  • Switch to the MBTA Green Line toward Lechmere.

  • Ride 2 stops and exit at North Station.

  • At North Station, a commuter rail train station, take the MBTA Fitchburg Line to either Concord or West Concord. See the current schedule here.

 

Transportation to Concord from Boston / Cambridge via Commuter Rail or Subway "T"

MBTA Commuter Rail from Downtown Boston or Cambridge to Concord:

At North Station, a commuter rail train station, take the MBTA Fitchburg Line. (You can also board this train at Porter Square Station in Cambridge.) Outbound trains stop in both Concord and West Concord. See the current schedule here.

 

MBTA “T” Red Line service:

The Red Line travels through the center of Boston, including a stop at South Station (Amtrak and bus station), and stops at Porter Square Station in Cambridge, where you can transfer to the MBTA Commuter Rail (see above).
