SAGE Crossing Farm Program for Autistic Adults

Watch how farm activities meet the need of autistic adults for meaningful work in an accepting and safe environment. SAGE Crossing Foundation has been established in Massachusetts to promote the idea of "farmsteads" for autistic adults, and to establish one (and eventually more than one) such facility. This video shows the SAGE farmers learning to perform farm chores, interacting with their helpers, with each other, and with the farm animals. For more info, go to www.SageCrossingFoundation.org

This is a beautifully, well done video illustrating how functional our young adults with autism can be when working in the right environment. SAGE is the beginning of a movement to create more meaningful lives for this group of people as they enter into adulthood.
