Craig and Sheryl Floyd shared their farm story at a recent workshop hosted by CT NOFA. The Floyds raise grass-fed pork, heirloom beef, poultry (turkeys, layer chickens and broilers) peacocks and Guinea fowl) in Stonington, CT. Footsteps Farm has been the only “Certified Humane®” producer in Connecticut since 2006.
Floyds’ livestock are “free range all day, every day.” While the farm has never been certified organic, no herbicides, pesticides or antibiotics are used. [more]
