Current Position Title:: art teacher and garden manager

What is your favorite childhood farm or garden memory?: I have so many memories but all of them had one in common; fun and peace was found outside. Shelling peas, being scared of the loud goose, riding the horses, teasing the ram, finding eggs in the hay tunnels we had built, learning to drive in the hay field were just a few of my memories. Now, my best is tasting the awesome tomatoes from the vine!

Natick Farm

If you can take the time to visit Natick Farm and meet with Ursula King it will be well worth your time. This 30 year old farm operation is productive and busy with visitors and educational programs. It provides a step from suburbia into rural farm life. It is a breath of fresh air. Most amazing is seeing young people not glued to an i-pod but weeding garlic, moving compost in wheel barrows and tending seedlings.
