What is your favorite childhood farm or garden memory?: Though I grew up in the suburbs and had very limited experience with farms and gardening as a child, growing things intrigued me. I began subscribing to Organic Gardening Magazine as a teen and helped start a horticulture club in high school, where we raised funds to build the school's first greenhouse.
