Vision and hopes for the fast-growing movement of farm-based education?
Farm-based education creates a new foundation for economic development in the United States. Food systems lay the foundation for local economies and link the diverse geography and populations from rural to small town, exurban and urban locales.
What is your favorite childhood farm or garden memory?
I grew up in New York City and one of my favorite memories is my mother telling me about the dairy farms on Staten Island when she was growing up.
