We will spend our time focusing on our specific tour, the "5 Senses Tour" is designed for Kindergarten aged students from the two local elementary schools, it will be their 2nd visit of 5 per year.  I will be teaching to our current education staff, most of them with several seasons of experience with our tours, for the most part it is a review session.  We take a tour around the farm and discuss how best to use the winter landscape to connect with the current curriculum in the classroom.  We…See More

Friendly Sheep and Nigerian Goats looking for a New England home!

Two female sheep and 5 Nigerian goats (2 does, 3 wethers) from Newtown, CT are looking for a new home. The goats were bought from different breeders in CT.  Three of them are registered with paperwork. The wethers are all about 2 years old (bought as kids in May of 2011).  Adult doe has been hand milked. All are very social, handled daily, groomed and hooves trimmed.
