The Wall Street Journal's October 15, 2009 article, Putting Up Produce: Yes, You Can by Ana Campoy shares recipes, history, and encouraging statistics about how a junk economy and a major shift towards healthy eating has found people stove-side boiling, sterilizing a… Continue

From today's Boston Globe:
We need a revolution in our food delivery system because the global $3.2 trillion processed-food industry is undermining our health and significantly contributing to our carbon footprint.

Also, are you heading to the Slow Money conference at Shelburne Farms in June? I will be there and it is looking as though it will be pretty great. Slow Money would be another great connection for the FBEA to grow.

Hi Brooke,

I am sure you know of them, but have you been in touch with Edible Communities Publications? It seems as though they could be a really great ally for the FBEA.

Hello Ms Brooke!

Thank you for what you do. Do we have an estimated cost for the conference? Options for work-exchange/scholarship?? I hope all is well. We are great down here in Tennessee.

Blessings.

HI Brooke. I wont be able to make the thing at Hawthorne Valley this saturday but thanks for letting me know. Aslo -some comments on this online thing (What do you call this thing- a "site"?)...

I ended up becoming a member of the Mass group when i didnt intend to. I just posted a comment to see what would happen but i became a group member. Maybe this is a bug? Also, it seems not so great that we cant change our privacy settings once we set up a group. Better if we could adapt as needed.

I guess I need to play around a bit before using this "site" as a communications vehicle with my group. We have so much to work on and I dont want to add any unnecessarily frustrating elements to our work. But it sure is a nice space if you can get it to work smoothly. Thanks for everything-Joanna
