The Farm-Based Education Network

Inspire-Nurture-Promote

Management & Leadership

The FBEA is a growing network of farm-based education professionals.  A group of volunteers provide leadership for the outreach and program activities of FBEA. The FBEA is a project of Shelburne Farms providing administrative, program development, and fundraising support to the project.

The staff structure of the FBEA is deliberately lean and nimble.  Each FBEA staff member works less than part time on this project to connect and network people in the community of farm-based education.

Brooke Redmond of Radish Road and the Founding Executive Director of the FBEA currently consults to the project as the Director of Communications and Development. T: 617-306-0090, E: brooke@farmbasededucation.org

Mike Roman, Education Manager and Camp Director at Gorman Heritage Farm in Ohio, consults to the program as FBEA Social Media Coordinator.  E: network@farmbasededucation.org.
