The University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension Youth and Family Program Team has an opening for a statewide program coordinator focused on 4-H animal and agricultural science education.
Responsibilities: Work with 4-H youth, volunteers, and staff along with University experts and external partners to ensure that local and state animal and agricultural science activities offer participants (ages 5-18) hands-on learning in a positive youth development environment. Develop, promote, and manage state events and coordinate the participation of NH youth in regional and national events.
Minimum qualifications: Master's degree, preferably in education or agricultural education and two years experience with youth development, including planning, organizing and evaluating educational programs (Bachelor's degree and four years of experience will be considered); Administrative and budget management skills; Excellent human relations and written communications skills. Knowledge of 4-H in NH (or another state) and volunteer management experience are preferred.
