the theme this year for our kids' garden is sip & snack. The idea is to fill the garden with yummy things kids will want to eat right in the garden and herbs they can brew up into sun teas. Any suggestions on things we really should or shouldn't have in the garden?
You probably should have sorrel (tangy lemony taste), Bronze Fennel (black licorice taste), chives, cherry tomatoes (of course), stevia, and loads of car-rots (sp. I know!). Dragon Tongue Beans also. And believe it or not hot peppers and garlic! Kids love extreme tastes and these are some of our kids favorite.
