Costs for this visa (usually $1500), visa processing, and health insurance for J-1 international interns that incur within the United States will be paid for by Green Chimneys. International applicants are responsible for all fees incurred in their home country, including embassy fees.
Note: The J-1 is versatile and will allow you to legally work in the United States within the sponsoring agency and receive a social security card. Not all J-1 visa applicants are granted a visa. This decision is made by the United States government.
