Wanted: Program Coordinator for Schools, Scouts, Volunteers
15-hours/week . Responsible for all NCOF school programs, scout programs, community service, and volunteers. Duties include administering and coordinating all school programs, setting up for and teaching all classes as/when needed, organizing and documenting individual and group community service participants and volunteers, working at all Farm events, coordinating birthday party tours, answering phones and generally assisting visitors/customers. Works closely with Public Program Coordinator and Farmers; reports to Executive Director.
Applicants must have demonstrated skills in teaching, organizing, communicating, multitasking, and customer service; be comfortable working indoors or outdoors in any weather in a face-paced, team-oriented environment; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; First Aid and CPR certified. Preference given to candidates with a B.S. in Earth Sciences or related experience, enthusiasm for hands-on work with school-aged youth and teachers, and a good sense of humor.
