Curriculum Frameworks & Standards: What do schools need to teach?

"Every public school is guided by some sort of curriculum framework or set of learning standards.  These are statements about what students should know and be able to do by certain grades, and are used to guide the work of teachers and administrators.  Taking a look at these standards is a good starting point for linking to school curricula. But there are a few useful things to know that will make it easier for you to navigate them."
