Event Description

This workshop will be led by Nonnewaug High School's Agricultural Mechanics Teacher, Edward Belinsky and Riverbank Farm's David Blyn.  The workshop will be an intro to tractor repair with a focus on preventable maintenance. This includes fluid checks, oil changes, basic hydraulics, and routine pre operational checks. The workshop is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.

Friendly Sheep and Nigerian Goats looking for a New England home!

Two female sheep and 5 Nigerian goats (2 does, 3 wethers) from Newtown, CT are looking for a new home. The goats were bought from different breeders in CT.  Three of them are registered with paperwork. The wethers are all about 2 years old (bought as kids in May of 2011).  Adult doe has been hand milked. All are very social, handled daily, groomed and hooves trimmed.
