Event Description

Looking ahead to the 38th year of the NOFA Summer conference.

The last conference took place at UMass Amherst August 12-14, 2011. Our next conference will be August 10-12, 2012. Check back on this site throughout the year as new information becomes available.

A call for workshop proposals will be posted on their  website in December 2011, and a final list of workshops will be posted in April 2012.

What's this conference about?

View a list of the 225+ workshops presented in 2011 on organic farming, gardening, land care, draft animals, homesteading, sustainability, nutrition, food politics, activism, and much, much more.

Every year, there are special workshops designed for kids and teens. An educational, fun opportunity for your children to bond with others from the Northeast while you attend workshops and events.

We have entertainment for the whole family: Music and dance, an old-fashioned Country Fair, farmer's market, games and fun. Modest registration, inexpensive dorm rooms, camping and delicious, wholesome organic meals.
