Directions:

Appleton Farms is located at 219 County Road (Rt. 1A) in Ipswich, MA.

To get to route 1A and the farm:

From Rt. 128 take exit 20A on to Rt. 1A North. Stay on Rt. 1A North for about 7 miles, passing through North Beverly, Wenham, and Hamilton.  The farm entrance is on the left just past the "Entering Ipswich" sign.  If traveling south on Rt. 1A from the north, the farm entrance is just past Waldingfield Road on your right. (Do not turn on to Waldingfield, as that leads to one of Appleton's remote parking areas.) If you see the "Entering Hamilton" sign, you've just missed the farm and should turn around. It will be just ahead on your left.

Two stone pillars and a green-and-white "Appleton Farms" sign mark the entry drive.  Once you have entered the farm, follow the dirt road and bear right when the road forks. When you come to a four-way intersection, go straight ahead toward a large, white building-this is the Old House, which houses the farm offices and Visitor Center. The parking area is just to the right of the Old House. Please drive slowly as we have many pedestrians, cows, horses and tractors on the roads!

*Please note: Appleton Farm's 219 County Road address works for Mapquest but not GPS.

To reach the farm office, please call: 978-356-5728.
