Soule Homestead Education Center is accepting registrations for their December vacation program. Children (ages 5-10) will have fun enjoying outdoor exploration, hands-on projects, crafts, games and stories as they learn about the animals that live at the 120 acre working organic farm during the winter season. This interactive program runs 9:30am – 12:00pm (a different activity is planned for each day). Learn the nuts and bolts of squirrels on Tuesday, December 28 with “Goin’ Nuts with Squirrels”. Gobble up Wild Turkey Basics on Wednesday, December 29 with “Let’s Talk Turkey!” Get to know our ‘dear’ friends on Thursday, December 30 – “White Tailed Deer”. Fly into backyard birding fun on Friday, December 31 with “Wild about Birds!” All programs are curriculum based and led by a Massachusetts certified teacher and experienced staff in a safe and positive learning environment. Registration Fee per child: $12 per day or $44 for 4 days (members) / $15 per day or $52 for 4 days (non-members).
