Derek Lucchese of Both Hands (www.bothhandsbread.ca) will take you through a three-day course that equips you to build your own brick oven at home. This outdoor workshop will involve hands-on participation and additional instruction on baking artisanal breads. We’re located on the Apple River in a lovely farm and woodland environment, within the charming hamlet of Little Falls. The river and DNR prairie parcels are just a walk away. Spend your days learning and your evenings hiking, swimming, bird watching, or simply relaxing in our library with a good book and a glass of iced tea. We’ll finish the last day with a pizza-making and ice cream extravaganza!
Additional details TBD; please stay tuned! If interested, contact Erica at eromkema@hungryturtle.net.
